Kinda surprised Björnfot didn’t make the cut in Florida. He was definitely 7th D material, but I didn’t think there was much competition for that spot. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him claimed.
Might be better for him if he gets claimed when he is that far down the depth chart with the Panthers. Kiersted, Balinskis, Staios are still in camp, probably battling for the 7th.
Same. With the losses of depth in OEL, Montour, and Josh Mahura.
Mahura is not a big loss at all, he was easily replaced by Balinskis. The team also added Dmitri Kulikov and Nate Schmidt. I am, however, surprised to see Kiersted, Staios and Balinskis all beat out Björnfot. That doesn’t bode well for him. Though Staios may be on the roster simply because of injury.
Björnfot just sucks.
