Denisenko intrigues me for the Flyers.

Dude is a black hole, a big minus player the last 5 years wherever he played.
Sunshine swede
Has Panthers still “first pick” on him, since they took him from their waivers??
Johnny Z
NO.
Josh Erickson
@Sunshine swede – no. If a team is attempting to re-claim a player off waivers whom they previously lost on the wire, they have no special priority.
Sunshine swede
Oh, I thought like.. if team A puts a player on waivers in order to send him to the minors and team B claim him. When team B do the same thing, team A could re-claim him and send to the minors without waivers… wrong then?
Josh Erickson
@Sunshine swede – yes, Team B could re-claim him and send him to the minors without waivers, but they don’t automatically have first priority in the claim order. That stipulation also expires after a set period of time. I don’t remember it off the top of my head, but it certainly doesn’t carry over from season to season.
