The 2022 trade deadline was extremely busy, with more than 30 transactions taking place before the bell rung. It’s hard to keep track of everything as it is happening, so we’ll break it down by team. Note that these are only the deals that happened on deadline day itself, meaning acquisitions like Claude Giroux and Ben Chiarot will not be listed.

The Scott Wedgewood to Dallas trade wasn’t listed in either the Coyotes or Stars lists.
Jplane
Also, the Coyotes claimed goalie Harri Sateri on waivers from Toronto on Monday.
Gavin Lee
This trade happened on Sunday.

Im a little disappointed I still have to see Tierney and Zaitsev in Senators jerseys but at least they got rid of two dead weight players. Let the kids play and go on another late season run after allowing bad veterans to drag the team down, then rinse and repeat next year. The circle of Dorion.

I trashed Hextall for his shoddy expansion draft work, deservedly so. Now, I praise his excellent trade deadline work, deservedly so.
First, Carter and now Rakell. Two home runs.
Luckily, we’ve had our last expansion draft for a while and the trade deadline comes every year.
Rakell adds just what we needed. If Zucker gets healthy and Kapanen gets going, our forward group is as good as any.
M34
Rakell is a home run? How long do you believe he will stay healthy?
If your forwards success as a group depends on the health of rakell and zucker, along with the IF Kapanen gets going, I hardly see that as ‘as good as any’.
66TheNumberOfTheBest
That’s why the word if means if, though.
M34
Fair enough.
Just saying, though. That’s a rather large if.
