Kahun and Cousins are surprising.

Even though Duclair is inconsistent I really thoughts Sens would at least qualify him.

I’m confused about Duclair, wasn’t he playing well in Ottawa? Also didn’t Gauthier play a necessary role for Toronto? I know he didn’t live up to his first round status but wasn’t he the only grit that team had? Or am I mixing him up with someone?
Ol' Voodoo
I think, they can still re-sign with the team for probably less than the qualifying offer would be.

Covid is goin to create the craziest free agency we will ever see I think, it won’t be overpays this year, it’ll be the most 1 year 1 million deals we’ve ever seen, I would really like to see athanasiou playing 3rd line for the Blackhawks
MoneyBallJustWorks
Duclair had a great first half but disappeared in the 2nd half. him representing himself in negotiations maybe didn’t do him any favours either.
As for Gauthier, he was a 4th line player for the leafs but didn’t use his body as much as people would think/want. Nice guy and hope he catches on somewhere but he is easily replaceable in the current league landscape

Rutherford got such (stuff) from our know nothing bandwagon fans for trading Kahun.
That said, if he’s cheap, Pens should grab him and put him on McCann’s wing.
Or grab Cousins and move McCann to wing.

If I was Lou in New York I would pick up Duclair over resigning Brassard.. Much younger kid then Brassard even if he doesn’t show up game in game out…
