The Boston Bruins have re-signed depth forward Karson Kuhlman to a two-year contract worth an average of $725K at the NHL level. Kuhlman’s deal will be two-way in 2020-21 and one-way in 2021-22.
The 25-year-old forward was an undrafted free agent signing out of the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2018 and has played 49 games for the Bruins over the last two seasons, including playoffs. In that time he’s contributed just 14 points but is an energy option that can be inserted into the lineup without hurting you.
In fact, Kuhlman has posted strong possession numbers whenever he does get a chance to play and saw a little bit of time on the penalty kill this year. It will be hard for him to ever really secure a full-time spot in the lineup without an injury to someone else on the roster, but as an extra forward that is still waiver-exempt, he’s a nice option.

Well it’s official the bs have gone from 1st to worse in their division at least it will be a a half a season if they have a season at all
Truthfully I don’t put all the blame on Sweeney and Neely I think it has more to do with the worst owners in the league the Jacobs family they don’t care about the sport or wins they just want the money

Teams that “win” the off-season rarely win in the regular season, because throwing money around usually just means bad long-term contracts. This team is still incredibly well put together so even though they barely added to it they’re not going to be the worst in the division. The biggest hurdle won’t be the free agents they didn’t sign, it will be how quickly it takes Pasta and Marchy to get back to form and I doubt even Taylor Hall was going to make up for not having those two.

The injury’s are the main reason I said worst before that came to lit I would have said 4th or 5th worst I also get what your are saying but the playoffs are what really proved the need more fire power because if that first line isn’t producing they have no shot at all so a guy luck Hall or Hoffman could have done wonders for them

I think Jacobs will be the first to tell you that the Bruins have spent to the cap for the last few years. This year may be different but I think any futility over the next couple of years will fall more on Sweeney’s recent poor drafts.

I think the B’s were in on all these guys but just couldn’t get it done financially due to having to extend Debrusk and Gryz. We’ll see about Hoffman, I still think they could find a way to make it work. If Pasta and Marchy come back full strength early enough in the season they’ll still make the playoffs assuming Tuukka’s head is on straight which is a huge if.

I don’t think their going to extend DeBrusk I think they’re looking to trade him they were at the draft at least and they should’ve traded Gryz enough with the small defenseman that get pushed around like kids and now his contract is ugly so nobody will take him maybe it is Sweeney & Neely’s fault
