The IIHF U18 World Championships begin today in Russia, with Team Canada and Team USA facing off at 9:30am central. The two squads are made up of many 2018 draft eligible players, including several potential first-round picks. The squads also feature two incredible youngsters, as both Alexis Lafreniere and Jack Hughes are present. Hughes is expected to challenge for the first-overall pick in the 2019 draft, while Lafreniere has a shot at being selected first in 2020.
