Just a couple of weeks remain until the NHL trade deadline, when teams are forced to finally make a decision on their future. Will they push their chips to the middle and try to take home the ultimate prize, or sit back and fold this season to try again another day? The trade market hasn’t opened up just yet, but now is your chance to ask our own Brian La Rose when he thinks it will.
Is Ryan McDonagh really going to be moved? What additions will the Boston Bruins make? How many Norris wins is Rasmus Dahlin guaranteed? He has all the answers.
Brian will be answering the mailbag this weekend, but be sure to submit your questions now! Leave a comment below or tweet at @prohockeyrumors using the #PHRMailbag.

What are the Golden Knights going to do? Buy, Sell or a little of both?

who can you see the leafs adding if anyone to the backend?
Also do you see the flames looking at an experienced backup now that Smith is hurt and they may need one if they can sneak in.

what is your best guess as a landing spot for gionta and wisniewski if they sign after the Olympics?

Do you see the San Jose Sharks doing anything before the deadline? Can they replace Joe Thornton without having to give up high draft picks or prospects?
JT19
That depends on who they are looking to acquire. A top six center/winger is going to cost a prospect and/or pick (with the price depending on the player being traded for and what the market price for a top six forward is). If the Sharks want somebody to fill out their bottom six, a mid-to-late round pick or a lesser prospect should be enough.

What do you expect the jets to do at the deadline since they’re already exceeding expectations and just got Schiefele back.
Also do you expect any goalies to be moved by the deadline? If so, who?

What’s your expectation with Dylan Larkin? He’s a RFA this year, do you expect him to accept a QO, and if he rejects to expect the redwings, a team just announcing full rebuild, to spend the money to match an offer sheet?
