I disagree. Lightning are still a deeper and better team than the Penguins. Boston is also a tough team. From the West, you have Nashville and Vegas who have been pretty dominant all year.
The Pens just don’t have it this year. I think Vegas, Tampa and Boston are the front runners. But the way Toronto has played of late (beating Boston, Nashville and TB in the last month), they could potentially make it thru to the conference finals. A win tonight in Tampa would certainly bridge the gap in the standings (4-pts separates them).

I don’t know if Nashville is really a threat like last year and then there’s Winnipeg. Top 6 are definitely the ones in the best positions to go deep.
