After all eighteen players placed on waivers yesterday cleared, there is a new group available to teams around the league today. While these waivers rarely see players change squads, as very few have room on their NHL roster, there is a chance some veteran NHL names will get picked. We’ll keep track of everyone placed on waivers right here.
On waivers:
Andrew Campbell (ARZ)
Hunter Shinkaruk (CGY)
Tyler Wotherspoon (CGY)
Emile Poirier (CGY)
Cameron Gaunce (CBJ)
Alexander Broadhurst (CBJ)
Andre Benoit (CBJ)
Brian Flynn (DAL)
Brent Regner (DAL)
Turner Elson (DET)
Jordan Nolan (LAK)
Jeff Zatkoff (LAK)
Scott Wedgewood (NJD)
Ben Thomson (NJD)
Bracken Kearns (NJD)
Tyler Randell (OTT)
Frank Corrado (PIT)
Jarred Tinordi (PIT)
Zach Trotman (PIT)
Chris Summers (PIT)
Garrett Wilson (PIT)
Jean-Sebastien Dea (PIT)
Kevin Czuczman (PIT)
There will also be some recalls over the next week or so to help out in preseason games or fill in for injured players, such as Charlie Lindgren, who was pulled from the Montreal lineup last night just before puck drop.
Recalled:
Mikhail Vorobyev (PHI)
Zach Fucale (MTL)

Three pretty interesting names by Calgary. I dont think Wotherspoon or shinkaruk should be written off yet.

Again, Goat? Really? Nobody is writing off anybody that is on the above list. Really, what is the worst that can happen to any of them? Ask your Goat mind that one very simple question & you will have a simple answer.

You don’t understand anything. I’m assuming you didn’t look at the kinsler article again since you still seem to be snarky. Anyways, the whole league had a chance to claim these guys, but passed. I think they still have a decent chance to carve out an NHL career. I don’t know why you responded to my post with your response. Seems like some unneeded rambling
Steve Skorupski
I understand a little more than you know,Goat. I also know a little bit more about than you think because I played at a higher level than most.

* hockey, between about & than

Wait so because you played a high level of hockey (doubt it), that means you know more about the day to day NHL roster moves and can call me out for no reason at all?
Steve Skorupski
I played way back in the day with & against Gordie Howes son’s & Ted Lindsay’s son Blake. Once those days were over, I moved on to the military. After my service, I had the opportunity to play in the USHL which was a very low minor league pro league. I know just a little bit about hockey & how & why things work. My career ended when I was diagnosed with cancer. It took my career but obviously not my life. The type of cancer that I had was caused by exposure to agent orange during my time in the military.
