The NHL Awards were held Wednesday night and even though they were quite overshadowed by the simultaneous expansion draft selections, some interesting choices were made for the trophies. Below are the award winners, finalists and final voting totals:

I think the correct choices won tonight when it comes to the more major awards. The only awards I could see creating some controversy would be the Norris, GMoY and Jack Adams trophies, but you’re really splitting hairs when it came to choosing one over the other.

I’m a Sens fan and might be biased, but I can’t believe they robbed EK for a second year in a row. Last year it was because doughty played better defense, and now this year it’s because burns got more points? If only Karlsson were Canadian I guess lol

I’m a Hawks fan and I love EK but Burnsie definitely deserved it. There’s a reason he was also a finalist for MVP
